The Mediterranean Water Institute (IME) organised this webinar in partnership with the ONEE (Office Nationale de L’Électricité et de l’Eau Potable) of Morocco. The representatives of ONEE exposed the state of play on the use and development of desalinated water in Morocco. Besides, also representatives from Malta and Spain set out the situation and developments in their respective countries. In the debate that followed the presentations, the relevance and importance of desalinated water as an alternative resource in a situation of water scarcity, was often highlighted.
