On 28th January, MENBO attended the Webinar organised by INBO (International Network of Basin Organisations) dedicated to the dialogue between cities and their basins in a context of climate change. The debate focussed on an exchange of experiences presenting the drainage systems of the cities of Mexico and Paris, based on two previously elaborated monographs on the respective drainage systems in these two metropolises.

The webinar was framed within a cooperation agreement on water resources management and climate change adaptation, signed in 2015 between the Mexican Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) and the French Ministry of Ecological Transition. Since 2016, the implementation of this agreement has been entrusted to the International Office for Water (OIEau).

Please find the Programme of the webinar, the Monograph Sistème de drainage Paris, and the Monograph Sistème de drainage Mexico, of the meeting.
