The 16^th International Conference EURO-INBO”**, for a better implementation of the European Directives on water, was held in Seville, Spain, from October 17^th to 20^th, 2018 at the invitation of the Hydrographic Confederation of Guadalquivir.

The “EUROPE-INBO” group was created in 2003 in Valencia, Spain, by the European Basin Organisations of INBO. The aim of the group is to contribute to an improved implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and other water-related directives and to enrich the implementation of water policies in Europe, including the Common Implementation Strategy (CIS), while disseminating the principles and tools of the European water directives, especially to the EU neighbouring and EU candidate countries.
